There should be a script that posts this every time someone gets a new modeler. I am pretty sure this would save people from returning speakers and such, thinking they are garbage. :)

Tried but they were out D:

Went with the Shure headphones instead. Hopefully they’ll be just as good.

Both headphones and Fractal come tomorrow. Is my life going to change?

I go all out when it comes to guitar related toys because this is basically all I do anymore. When it comes to anything else? I'm the biggest cheapskate there is :eek2:

Anyways, there was a delay with UPS so the Fractal comes tomorrow. I did get the headphones today though. They're awesome!:applause:

Gee, that reminds me of someone I know.. :acoustic:

Ya know, I have often said as a hobby, guitars and amps are cheap in comparison to others. Take boating, or flying or competition firearm shooting or photography..

This is a low cost venture when you consider all things being equal.

So I think you are seeing what really high quality headphones give you. I know I am shocked when I have my Focals on.. and as a matter of fact, they sound almost exactly like my FRFR cabinet

Exactly what I say. Guitar/music related hobbies aren’t nearly as expensive as others. Car guys probably spend 20 times more money and are at a greater risk of having to pay for faulty/broken parts after installing something.

I know regular ammo and range time costs me. But, I enjoy it, and it's something me and my sons do together. But, after getting the gear, only costs for music are my time.

    Listening or playing?

Actually is the same for the most part.

Classic Rock, Blues, So Rock, Surf, OG Punk, So Cal Punk, Hard Rock, Classic Metal, 50s Rock, Prog Rock

But also listen, though don't play Classical, New Age Instrumental, even the occasional Opera.

Cars are a perfect hobby to draw a comparison. In the racing world it's $10,000 for a .1 second in lower ET

There are a time that I did IPDA shooting and spent $5000 on a race .45 Colt. Then 500 rounds a week in practise ammo. Even after I started reloading it was still expensive.

Their impedance is slighty higher (45 ohms vs 35 ohms) but that is not a bad thing! You want to avoid a headphone with an impedance lower than the output of the modeller is expecting to drive into, that situation would result in major tone suck for sure.

Alright so I got this thing. For now I just want to hook it up to my pedal board and go through pre-sets. Where does the “Send” and “Return” get plugged into for loop pedals? I see multiple inputs on the back and I’m not sure which ones to use.
