Here's mine, a 1946 Blackstone. Original except the guard curl. From before Gibson owned Epi and Epi was made in New York. Almost mint condition. Been in my family it's whole life.

Lol, that pic came out great. It really is just a decent looking guitar, but for some reason that pic came out amazing. In reality the flame is not that pronounced. Here is a blah pic of it before I modded it. When I got it, it had passive EMGs in it, chrome hardware and creme plastics.

I'm not a huge fan of all black hardware but for some reason it seems to suit your Blueburst... I wonder what it would look like with all gold parts and some black open coils on it.. :hmm:

Love the 335 anthem1 and the red (I think I might be biased). Here is my 99 epi dlx in Red Sparkle. Only mods so far are cream top hats that should have been there to start with (came with gold) and sperzel trim lok machines. Bone nut is next.

My beloved Joe Perry boneyard -
    [IMG]
Just completed a full set up/fret dress and added some gibson delux kluson style 'snot' tuners as the original were a bit light weight. Other mods include a clear scratch plate and a 'Tone X' wah pre amp push pull pot - the same as in Joe's Blackburst signiture gibson. Awesome tones when you get the hang of it, especially with both p'ups ( burstbucker's 2 & 3) wired out of phase.

The tuners and the plastics are the only things original.

That looks awesome man! Love the black hardware. Way to make an inexpensive guitar look like it cost major cash. :thumb:

Hey Kong, you don't happen to have any sound clips of that bad boy with those Mean 90s in it, do you? Looks killer, BTW. :thumb:

I've modded several. This was my latest project and actually the second time I modded it. So, we got a Martin6string coil split harness, Seymour Duncan APH-1, Alnico II Pro's, black plastic, custom TRC, Grover Deluxe Tuners, Switchcraft toggle and output jack and of course 0-11 Gold Speed Knobs. It sounds and plays pretty darned good.

Sorry bro, never did get a chance to record it and sold it off the other day. It sounded awesome though, IMHO.
