Here's my OLD Epi LP Standard. Got new DiMarzio pups, cts pots, black hardware. Not seriously modded, but enough for me to happy. Plays great and sounds awesome. Seriously needs frets so this has been my main slide guitar for the last 2 years.

Not wasting time posting a pic of internals, but suffice to know that my G400 Custom is Fuielie equipped and Jonesyblues wired.

    Thanks MT.
Love those Ebony Sherri's BTW. (Beautiful man) :wow:Should sound lovely and clean with those Gibson pups. I got 'em on my Gibby Studio and I'm impressed with their performance. Never really paid them much notice before but, they're pretty good. :dude:

Here's a gratuitous, and very proud, pic of my recently modded Studio, 'cause I can. :laugh2:

You do good work ER. Love that Studio too. I had SD Pearly Gates in the Sherry, but these NOS 490's just sound better for this job. I also love my 70's Epi FT-120 acoustic.

Check this out. Bought this couple of years ago, then got rid of it real quick. :hyper:
Not a genuine Epi but it was beautifully made. A few mods with the electrics and a good set-up and it should've been cool but, I decided to let it go.
Didn't want a fake to tarnish my collection.

    Check out that inlay man!!!

Never seen one like it but it is a sharp guitar. I wonder why the maker did not bind the neck? :hmm:

I'm wondering why they didn't put their own mark on it.

Yeah, I thought the same when I got her.
If I'd built one like that I would've put my own logo on her for certain.

Now I'm wishing I'd kept her and just changed the logo instead of floggin' her off. :dunno:

    Food for thought.:hmm: :hmm:

2002 Dot, added Bigsby, 57 Classic neck, Seth Lover bridge. The usual wiring changes, just recently took it back to black plastic, but it's now Gibson rings and an Allparts 335 long guard.

BTW. I used to have a Sheraton as well. Nice guitar.

I also used to have 2 Epi Rivieras. A Goldflake and a Burgundy Mist.

    Both had

    Duncan 59s
    Gibson pots
    Bigsby B7s
    gotoh or schaller bridge.
    Gotoh/Kluson Tuners

Out of all of the guitars I've moved over the years those are the ones I wish I still had.

    (Especially the gold one)

And I have an ES 335.

The last "inlay" is just a decal. !5th fret is the last inlay on these Sheratons.

Yeah I remember that. That's why I wondered. I guess I thought it looked one short at the 15th. It's been a while. :)

I'll bet that guitar sounds great.

Yes SFK, I love the sound and it plays easy. I did the work myself which kept the cost down. I like playing Tom Petty and CCR songs on it especially.
