Damn there are too many nice guitars and I can only have one!
Now available on eBay from a jp-cultures for a mere $850 more. Free shipping and (I guess) the 8% premium is included. I hate these 3rd party sellers.
What's funny is that they nearly always include free shipping..... even on amps, which, depending on the price and weight of the item itself, would cost more than the 10-20% they upcharge. I just bought a Guyatone reverb unit and after buying it I was kicking myself when I saw that it was listed on eBay for more, but with free shipping, which would have made it $50 less than what the actual store was selling it to me for... Meaning the seller would have to take a loss if they were using EMS shipping like advertised.
Ultimately the seller probably would have tried to say the item got lost or stolen and refund me, but it's a funny thought the next time I'm looking for a heavy item from Japan.
https://www.digimart.net/cat01/shop3740/DS04417227/ - Any idea of the specs on this and what year itd be made? Still has Les Paul Model so I'm gonna guess late 70s.
https://www.digimart.net/cat01/shop4983/DS04417619/ - Nice Tokai with a thin poly finish and madagascar rosewood board.
https://www.digimart.net/cat01/shop4916/DS04416261/ - Amazing burst replica. Don't know what pickups but probably throbaks based on the other ones I've seen. Haven't seen any photos of the headstock on the listings I've seen online so it's probably got a you know what logo.
https://www.digimart.net/cat12/shop50/DS04417250/ - Not a Les Paul, not even a guitar but good luck finding a point to point jmp super lead at this price. You'd have enough money to convert it to whatever power your country uses and still be under market price.
Well the killer looking replica says it has Timbuckers which were highly regarded some years back. I haven't looked at the others yet.
Pretty nice price for a solid flame top Deviser made lp
Sold for 60K. That was a steal.
Now is your chance to get an Edwards custom cheap.
That was reeeeeeeeallllly Cheap
This might be of interest:
A lot of bad reviews for the seller though...
Yes and no - 3.42% bad.
Another Deviser solid made flametop for a good price:
I own one and its really great. And Im comparing to Greco EGF 1000, Momose and Crews ktr standard. Nice chunky 59 neck and amazing craftmanship... I'm having trouble understanding why Tokai ls80-100 veneer tops command prices that are double or more than this sexy beast...
Probably has to do with the hype that surrounds the Tokais. I've heard stories that claim both Tokai and Greco had a stash of old growth mahogany back in the 70s/80s. Other difference might be nibs, pickups and aging of the wood. Not sure about finish. (Udo pointed out that Greco used tons of plasticizers in their nitro so even it was almost like a poly finish). I had a few Grecos and ended up keeping my Navigator.
That guitar does look sweet though. Did Crews make a model with a 58 style fat neck?
Yes the Deviser made ls02 I used to own had more of a 58 neck. Don't know about the newer ones made by Terada...
The Deviser made ls01 and ls02 are basically pimped Bacchus Classic Series...better pickups and nicer finish....and seems to be easier to find with solid flame top. Far between Bacchus Classic Series with solid flame tops...
They only made 2 or 3 batches of FM Classic Series LP's. The second batch is by far the best looking.
ObG Black Reissue for 65k yen
That went for a bargain even with the knock on the bottom, that just added character where it was located arther than anything to worry about.
Good deal? Yeah!
And, I guess too good for the seller, as it looks like he cancelled my bid, and ended the auction.
A message from Jauce this morning read: "Your bid on this auction has been removed by the seller for an unknown reason".
The listing page shows "this auction has ended", yet the "Current Bid" is still showing as the opening amount, and my bid amount was substantially higher.
If you aren't willing to sell an item for what you list it at, then what are you doing....?
