Here's a good offer for anyone who's had interest in these amps. I know I'm not known as an amp builder so people may be hesitant in buying. This amp has just been completed for a customer but due to unseen expenses that have come up, he cannot purchase the amp now. So I'm offering the amp with a 48 hour approval and no questions asked return. The amp also has the NOS Siemens EL34 power tube $125.00 upgrade at no extra cost. $2700.00 in the black tolexed head cab shown in the pictures. Or for a $300.00 upcharge I also have a great looking Cherry or Black Walnut cab available. I have not had a customer yet that has not been 100% or more happy with the amp!

Are the specs (i.e. height and width) the same as a 2204?

Hi, yes the chassis is the same size as a Marshall 2204. But the head box is the shorter 26" small box plexi size. By the way, I got your email and replied to it twice from 2 different computers and the all bounced back to me undeliverable. If you had listed a phone number I would have called you. Please call or pm me thru this forum if you want more info.

These are GREAT amps! If you have interest (and why woudn't you) do not hesitate at all.

This covers a lot of ground from late 60's Plexi to late 70"s JMP tones and beyond.

The few weaknesses in the Marshall design have all been addressed here:

    -Master Volume
    -Effects Loop
    -Bright Cap switch
    -Pre-amp / Gain Structure

The best part about these in my opinion is the Master Volume which extremely well and can dial in the tones you want at home volumes. Mark told me i wouldn't be disappointed and as usual his gear and tone advice is spot on.

Besides everybody needs a 50 Watt Marshall, especially one with great tone at any volume.
