What is the closest big city to you, Hayden?
I'm closest to Toronto
I'm on the search for a trade for my SG, so I'm on kijiji looking for one. If I see anything that looks good, I'll post the ad link here. Are you mobile enough to go out and get around the city? Is their a better end you are closest to i.e. West, East, etc.?
Also, I know you are hyped on a fender, but try looking at Traynors. They are built just as good as a production Fender and sound fantastic. Their warranty is one of the best-2 years, even if you break it! The main plant is in Pickering, so if you have a problem, they are close for repairs. Most of their amps are 'self-biasing', so as long as you use matched pairs for the power tubes, there is no biasing by an expensive tech required. I had the YCV50 for years and it served as a fantastic Blues amp and was great for RnR-when cranked.
I'm currently not mobile unfortunatley
Traynor Ironhorse - Lunchbox amp - JJ Tubes!!
I just ran across a like-new Peavey Classic 30 for $300 locally. Have you looked at those?
