New happy Melody Maker owner here :thumb:

120th Anniversary YTV (sorry for the cr@ppy picture... I sure have a bad camera !)

After a good setup, it is a great and fun player... love those P90S.

    I use it in a DIY hot-rodded Tweed Champ w/ a 10". P90S + 6V6 is a great combination, either in clean(ish) or crunch.

I just saw this thread and dont have any cool pictures, only boring story . . . In '80 or so I was under the
impression that real punk rockers such as myself:)facepalm:) needed proletariat equipment--solos suck, and all
that other stuff that went along with the prevailing punk mindset back then. So, I had a little Melody Maker
that I used to travel with because it was so small and light. It became my go-to guitar even though I had
a '76 reissue Firebird too. The lil Melody Monster had the finish sanded off but was in real nice shape. It
had this strange Vibro bar that was a stamped-flexible piece of metal. I assaulted people with it using a
Big Muff into a 4x10 Bassman 60 watt combo. Ooooof . . . The single coils through that set-up was
what I would call 'oticular chaos' for want of a better term, lol! :) What a sound!! lol. Mission accomplished.
Of course, I got rid of that great little guitar for who knows what.
Another "how could you do that?" memory painful to think about!
I have about three Gibsons I want to get forst, but I would love to find a white Joan Jett MM at some point
    in time.
    :cheers2:

My single cut MMs, covering a six decade timeline..[IMG]

..And the other, equally yummy ones (IMO). Awesome that the MMs have been around for all this time, in all their different forms. :)
