Now there is a difference between Brisket and steak.
Gotta digest it, first...*
* Thanks for the set up.
Cooking any steak more than a 2-(Medium Rare) is actually a felony, punishable by jail time.
Well, it should be.
It disrespects the noble beast that died to feed you.
And people who put ketchup on steak should be haunted by the ghost of the cow that received such a grievous insult.
Knock the horns off and burn the hairs
But I voted medium rare, and that's my favourite nowadays
So.... when are we getting these steaks?
Before the cake..
Make sure everybody gets a baked potato too. Loaded - butter, sour cream, cheese, bacon, chives.
I like a baked sweet potato.
I wish I would have got a pic of the steak I had last weekend. It had a great medium rare cook. Nice seared outside and clear red juice flowing from every bite. The center was quite dark red, probably between rare and medium rare. But possible the best steak I have ever had. Also probably why I didn't stop to take pics.
I find it hilarious that some people have a moral outrage for somebody wanting a well done steak. What business is it of yours if that's how they like it?
Myself, I prefer medium rare.
Think of the children.
Pretty sure that's humor, Freddy.
Good job keeping him distracted while we build the culinary re-education camps. It's best that they think we're joking until we're ready to round them all up.
Oh I know those types that truly get upset. Mrs. G and are friends with this couple we've known for years. We used to go over to their place for BBQ and the husband would get seriously pissed at Mrs. G for wanting her steak well done. We still hang with them , but when they have us for dinner it's never steak anymore!
Wow, that's weird. I've never known anyone like that (no snark there, it's true). I detest well-done steaks myself, but if I ain't eating it, I don't give a damn.
