RIP Malcolm. An influence on a lot of players if they know it or not.

For some reason for me the coolest part he did is the dum dududum dududum on the E chord in back in black during the solo. 1:52 I don't even really pay attention to Angus anymore during that part.:) It's so awesome.

RIP Malcolm. Easily the greatest rock rhythm player of all time (Tom Fogerty #2).

Amazed me how he'd stand there next to the drummer with his eyes closed and slightly bopping up and down while playing those incredible signature riffs and rhythms. He held it all together.

    R.I.P. Malcolm !
Well ...OK...for me anyway.... AC/DC is one of those very magical bands from my youth.
I honestly haven't listened to them in years.
So...in honor of Malcolm's passing.......I spun an old vinyl today.. Like loud...real loud.............................High Voltage !

It was like a crazy acid flashback.
I was recalling all the emotions and remembering vivid details about my first job, my first car, my first girls ,alcohol, drugs and all the great parties and friends at that time. All the crazy stuff we got into !

As others have said.... Malcolm was the engine in a great rock n roll band !!!!!

I love the picture of him with the red SG. Like everyone else, I'd like to think it's him just noodling around on his little brother's guitar.

I still cannot comprehend how his rhythms were so mechanically precise and organic at the same time.

When I play I still find myself nervously tying to fill in the dead-space in "easy" rhythms with noise.....and failing.

First album I bought. 1980. 5th grade. Back in Black.

    I miss him already.

Such a sad loss. A truly underrated legend, and one of the sweetest guys in the business. This is the band that inspired me to pick up the guitar way back in '78 when I first heard the live album 'If You Want Blood'. Still kicks my ass today, and always will. RIP Malcolm, and thank you (all) for the music.

Hearing 'Whole lotta Rosie' (live version) at a school disco in 78 almost literally changed my life. Hawkwind live at Newcastle City Hall in 79 was the final nail (made of exotic space-craft metal) in the coffin of my mediocrity ... it was light and colour and sound thereafter. Thank you AC~DC.

Didn't pay too much attention to AC/DC until I picked up the electric again. Then I
heard the crunch of one of the greatest anthemic songs about Rock to ever emerge,
"Its A Long Way to The Top", and started to listen a lot closer to the rhythm guitar
and its power to transport the soul. Plus the balls to put bagpipes that made the song
    soar into history...
