CUBS take two in a row from Brewers in 10 !!
9-1 and now getting their post season get on,,!
You must be excited about your early exit. Their pitching is terrible. Ain't gonna work this year.
SF Giants Pitcher Matt Cain is pitching his final game on Saturday.
I'll never forget this game. It was, well perfect.
Cubs win !! 5-1
Yeah awful.. These KIDS can play !
46-24 from All Star break.. Even after the slow start. 1st team since 2009 to win WS and then Division Champs the next year.. How horrible LOL..
"They are also the first defending World Series champion to win their division the next season since the 2009 Philadelphia Phillies and the first defending champion to reach the playoffs the next season since the Cardinals won the wild card in 2012."
Earned Runs Avg
Yep another HORRIBLE YEAR LOL !!
But a very young team..we'll see how it winds up.
Enjoy the agita !!
Washington is tough and great team..
Can't wait to see this..
LA is a Monster..but CUBS Kids are back in..
Guaranteed .....,another sub.500 season.....
And to make matters worse....King Felix....in now just Felix.
So many seasons he gave his heart and soul to a bad ball club, he was the flame in a small fire....
Now he'll fade into the background of a bad franchise, never getting his due.......
It was an entertaining regular season, first playoff games:
TUESDAY, OCT. 3 Twins at Yankees, 8 p.m. ET, ESPN
WEDNESDAY, OCT. 4 Rockies at Diamondbacks, 8 p.m. ET, TBS
I'm just happy my Yankees are in the post-season.
The Brewers exceeded every expectation I had. However its the worst possible outcome in my opinion. This was supposed to be a 2012 Cubs full blown tank year. So now they miss the playoffs by a game so they don't get a chance to dance, and get no draft picks. In fact made some trades for arms down the stretch. But didn't give away the farm. Overall disappointed in how everything went down. But any time the cardinals don't go to the playoffs is a victory for me.
I hate the one game playin thing. Baseball is a flukey game. Too much weird stuff happens. Really hard to manage your pitching staff for the next series. Theres a reason the World Series is a series and not a single game
Wow. Twins are up 3 to 0 over the NYY in the 1st inning.
Go paul molitor
Looking forward to my beloved Sox sending them home, if the Yanks can make it past the Twins.
Both managers are stressed and feeling the pressure of the one and done situation.
I'm not watching. Baseball has kind of lost me over the years. However as a Brewers guy and molitor being my favorite player ever I have to root for him.
The first game that I watch of this season, will be Game 1 of the ALDS, if/when the Sox get there.
ESPN did a one-minute interview with Molitor in an earlier inning. He started laughing when the first question was "What's it like managing this game?"
I've got the game on in the background while doing other things. It'll be at least 4hrs long.
We made quick work of the Twins. Your Sox are next buddy!
I was at the game last night and it was a wild ride. I never liked the wild card but at least now the play in game put the dark days of no disadvantage for the wild card team behind us.
The Red Sox have to get past the Astros first.
I watch baseball on my PC. MLBTV gave me a good veterans discount for the regular season. MLBTV is showing TWO playoff games and they want me to pay approx $27 to watch them.
Yanks and Indians tied at 8 each in the 13th inning.
