Thats cool, I can do that Paul. The only problem is that I rely on information given to me by other people, who were recommended on this forum. I can go to Yahoo! and search for them in specific areas, but if no one has dealt with them, they could be really bad. So Paul, if you wanna submit info to me, send me a PM and lemme know. Thanks!

Lays Guitar Shop
Dan Shinn owns the shop now. He bought it from Virgil Lay in 1982 when Virgil decided to focus on S.I.T. Strings. His brother, Joel, does a lot of finish work in addition to building his own line of custom guitars. Don Fallon does repairs for them as well.
They've maintained my guitars since the late 70s.
anybody know of a good tech in las vegas?
I do repairs, finishing, etc. New builds are for the others - I've got plenty on my hands with my own guitars!
Any recommendations for a good tech in the Portland Oregon area?
Any recommendations for the Bay Area here in CA?
I'm in San Jose and looking for somebody local.
How about Louisiana?
any (highly) recommended ones in Texas?
There's three others up here that are also top shelf:
Brady Anderson in Olympia
Mike Lull in Bellevue
Lynn Collins in Tacoma
He's in San Antonio, but he's originally from Davenport, Iowa. He's by far one of the most respected repairmen in the midwest: Paul Munden. If I weren't such good friends with Dave Johnson, my guitars would be going to Paul without hesitation. But, I don't know if he's still doing it or not.
Any recommendations for Northern Virginia/DC?

I am located in Minnesota about 30 miles north of the Twin Cities.
I do ALL repairs, restorations , and custom work. In process of building 2 custom electrics for "demo" purposes.
Been playing for 30+ years and still in a local twin cities band.
Full time Luthier, shop is located at my residence.
Would love to help anyone in the area!!!
I am located in Davenport, Iowa. Right on the Mississippi River, across from Rock Island Illinois. 180 miles southwest of Chicago. I can offer re-fret, binding, routing with two Overarm Pin Routers and three router tables. I do not spray so I am limited to small area cosmetic repairs or natural wood complete finishes. I am also equipped to do fairly complex inlay. At this time I am not doing complete guitars but I am getting there.
I also do setup on electric or acoustic and for "bolt-ons" I can convert to threaded insert, and built in neck angle adjuster. Email is in my public profile. I am 62 and have been working on guitars since age 17, starting with custom pearl work and on through building. I am a semi-retired lawyer looking to avoid mischief with too much time on my hands(hey, there is a song there, right?) J. E. "Mike" Tobey- WhiteHorse Guitars, LLC and New Traditions Tool & Finish
