Thanks, much appreciated..
But why????, why????? you never finished the binding on the body?
do you mean the back ?
No I mean the white binding is not a flush with the body. You don't mind?, do you?.This guitar is so perfect, I couldn't resist to mention to you about it.
oh, oh, now i understand and yes, you are correct, the binding is not flush with the sides of the body.
someday i will get around to doing that. right now i've just enjoyed playing her and showing her off to friends.
btw, i did buy the correct bit for this stewmac binding so when i build again i won't have that issue.
73custom, you do not need to buy expensive stuff from SM. I'm using the same 0.5" trim bit and I realized that the 3/8 bearing doesn't work for, so I have ordered online 5/16" bearing for 3/16" shaft which give me .09" , and I paid $4 for the bearing.
Greetings from NJ

When I look at your pictures I smell that fresh nitro smell that you get from a guitar case. Its such a good smell.
It's threads like these that have me uploading images to mylespaul, as opposed to having them hosted somewhere.
73Custom hasn't been around in years, and this looks like it could have been pretty informative.
I'm still alive, just haven't built any guitars in years.
My new house I am building should provide me a small shop again...
Will build again in the next year or so...
This is a great thread. Do you have the pics from it in another collection anywhere online?
I will have to go back and review this thread when time permits. I'm not sure what happened all the pictures.
I believe I have most of them on my computer...
Going to take me a little while b4 I can review the thread and look at what's missing
I sure appreciate the thread you wrote here, and all the work you put into it.
When's the new house being built? It'd be nice to have a little shop.
Thanks so much, it was a blast. Ready to build another, lol...
I remember see this thread a few years ago with all the photos. This was going to be the thread I came to when I was ready to try to build. It's to bad that all the photos are no longer here.
