I bought it from Ebay... as far as I know Gibson doesn't sell the Custom Back Plates
Was my first thought as well, seems strange actually. But hell, it`s Gibson, there are no "normals".
I'm vibing on that top ... beautiful.
I can feel a little difference between the regular/non split pots vs the Push-Pull Pots. The Regular Pots feels a little bit softer/looser than the Push-Pull Pots but in anyway they feel broken.
I like a lot how soft they roll but how sturdy they are when you dial the volume/tone.
So Arnold Lesti is God's real name ?
Awesome looking fiddle Figo. Really gorgeous. I bet you can't wait to hear how it sounds and how it will play.
Long may you enjoy in good health
Beautiful.. Cant wait to see the finished product.
Copper Shielding + Removal of Nasville Posts / Installation of Faber BSWKIT ABR-1 Posts
For the Faber BSWKIT ABR-1 Posts I had to make the threads since I didn't want to install the plug 'n play studs (which fits only w/pressure) . I used a 8.0mm x 1.25 Pitch Tap to thread the wood, and ended up being an extremely easy Modification which is supposed to provide a Huge Improvement in terms of Sustain... We'll see if I can perceive it or not!
Nope. Arnold Lesti was the heretic in the story.
I'm starting to fell a little vibe of jealousy here...
Can't wait to see the finished product!
That top is gorgeous!
Real classy man. I really like what you've done.
Nice....I was worried when I saw the slightly drunken abr stud.....but it looks like the bridge went on ok.
Make sure to oil the board and/or scrape some of the crud from the fret edges.
Needs moar strings!
Some serious OCD showing up in those shielded cavities. (That's meant to be a compliment.)
And that is one HANDSOME guitar!
Very nice! Damn, that thing is beautiful!
She's a beauty alright.
Nice parts build! Love the colour of that top.
