Just an FYI for all of you that did not get in on the Ridiculously low priced Memphis Historic VOS ES 335 floor models that Chicago Music were selling , here is some good news for you. They are getting their last shipment from Gibson next week and will have the Blond/Vintage ES 335 58, 59 and 63's available again at about 50% off! Deals like this don't come that often. Once these are gone it is unlikely we will see prices like this again for this sort of quality.

These are phenomenal guitars, the best that Gibson has put out in Decades. Better than many real deal vintage I have played. They are taking pre orders for those that don't want to miss out. Best of luck to you all. Post pix of them here when you get one...or two...

I agree some great deals, I have done serious damage to my wallet the last couple of months because of these guys.

Killer deals on Es Les Paul's and 339's as well.

Thank you for the PSA. I got an Es-LP with no F-holes on pre-order now. They had seven coming and now only one is left!

Is that one of the 59's? I was emailing with Joel about the 58's yesterday, might pull the trigger

I pulled out my standard Dot 335 yesterday to kill the GAS from this thread. It was perfect in every way. Now the GAS is back. :eek2:

CME's making it really easy. Gibson was doing it right in Memphis with its high end stuff. If you ever wanted a top of the line ES-335 made with better intentions than at about any time since the early 60s, now's the time. It's not clear to me that there will be any more Gibson Memphis 58 or 59 Historic ES-335s. The one I got last month from CME was a 7/7/16 dated instrument. And the new 59 ES-335s seem to be coming out of Nashville- they look nice too, but they'll be different than the Memphis ones. My feeling is this one has the vintage vibe through and thorugh.

Yeah, I couldn't resist the deal on that 339 @ $1380 delivered to my door, thats less than the used ones I have seen on CL by at least a few hundred.

BTW I believe that photo is a 330 not a 339, when I first saw your post I said to myself oh crap I didn't see that 339!

yeah the one in the picture is the 330. a lot more expensive at $2500. I almost bought it but at the end of the day, I prefer humbuckers. I considered the faded 339 but I found a used 339 I like better that I might buy. regardless, less than $1400 for a new 339 is a killer deal.

This is so tempting... I already bought a gloss cherry 355 “floor model” but it is unreal how comfortable it is and how good it sounds. Makes me really want to pickup the black 355 but that is just getting selfish. Prices like this are likely to never come up again, even used.

My 1963 Sunburst VOS was delivered Monday.

Brand new with all the packaging over and around the guitar in the case. CME opened the case to remove the Gibson Warranty Card and inspection tag, and replaced them with their own inspection tag

Everything is fine with the guitar. Plays great and sounds great. Plus, a once in a lifetime deal.

Pics of the guitar by Saturday.
