I saw a cool looking Tokai Love Rock Les Paul on Reverb
Anyone have experience with these? Are they any good? I don't mind changing some wiring and all so that's no biggie just wondering about the main stuff... Body Neck etc

How old, where made? Tokai or Fakai? If you're in Canada, there are a lot of fakes floating around.

Be very careful. Most any "brand new Tokai" offered in Canada or U.S.A. is fake... and then you have the people unloading the second hand fakes here there and everywhere.

Tokai sullied their rep when they started the non-MIJ lines. Join the Tokai Forum and wise up there - plenty of good, honest used MIJs out there. No need to fuss with the low-spec namesakes.

Is that Tokai logo looking a wee bit large on the headstock?

There's a Fakai ES-335 copy selling in Toronto for $800. Absolutely ridiculous when an Epiphone Dot sells used for $350. I've seen excellent MIJ Vantage copies sell for under $500, much better to go that route.

People can ask whatever they want for a guitar. What they will sell it for is another story. Buyer beware.

There are great, honest new MIJ Tokai's out there as well. You have to do some homework.
