At least that's my vote, for name.

The room/studio/man cave is finally done enough, I can cart my stuff in. This is basically, and almost officially, my moving in day. Even though I moved into the house over a month ago... I've been waiting for this room. At least half of my stuff, is this... so its been, and still is in cases, boxes, etc.

I got a memory foam futon, so I can pass out in there. LOL!

Once it started taking shape, I felt the need to name it. I'm going to have a wooden plaque made, for above the door.

Some pics, and a poll. Room still needs a lot of acoustic/reverb help. Its pretty wet sounding, need to dry that up. Though, I'm pretty sure I'm going with the Hercules wall hangers, and just putting everything up on the walls. I know the issues with wall hangers, but from what I've read... the Hercules, are more than likely safe to use. I can address it, if they're not.

For those that don't remember, or didn't read the thread. This is what I'm working with...

    Plus this...

The room so far. Room is 10' x 20'

Moving in (think I'm going to keep my JVM in the living room)

So what say you? Which name? Or something better?

Inspired by a thread here, I'd call it "Pauls to the Wall"!

No idea what you should pick for the name but if I recall this was a room built in the garage right? If so it turned out amazing! Congrats dude!

Yeah, 2 car garage... about 20' by 23'. I had him split it in half. The other side, is going to be walled off with plywood, so I can build a small shop, as well. This room is completely insulated walls and ceiling (or will be, once shop portion is done). I can go in turn the Jubilee up to noon, and you can kind of hear it, in the back yard... through the AC.

    How about Walls of Paul!

LesMar Hall. I like that one.

    Music Room? Eh...

LOL! Tigger has been with me, for years. Have quite a few Tigger items. My dad was into Snoopy. I like Tigger. Bouncy, flouncy, trouncy, pouncy... fun, fun, fun, fun...

I've been playing in there, since they put the drywall up, but it was pretty dusty, so would only go in there for an hour or so, then drag the one amp, one guitar out. Last night, was the first time, I got to drag everything in. Well, except the JVM. After moving all my guitars in here... I'm thinking the JVM will probably move as well. She sounds way too good. Though, now I'm getting tight on space. I still think I can make it fit. I'll move the Katana closer to the futon, if need be.

Had to have a break in period tonight. Some Lesters, and a SG I haven't played in a while, and of course the Historic.

Surprisingly, I think I had the most fun, with these two. I did enjoy the Trad much more, after getting the Historic. I'm used to the neck profile now, and it is a comfortable guitar to play.

Still, these two ran away with it. I was just dialed into their tone.

One other point, not sure what your final plans are but you will probably need a bit more of something in there to absorb some of the sounds and stop reflections. I know I went through it all.

As much as I don`t like carpets, one in the middle of the room might help. Also some absorbers and bits of furniture to break the refplectons can help. Especially at the back where your amps are pointing to.

I built a press with absorber foam on the side and curtaind to help in the one corner - which holds my cases ;)

And the other corner has the display case and chairs.

They are small things but made a big difference for me.

Thinking you spent too much on furniture and not enough on gear....

How about the Music Room? After all, that's what happens in there

    Cool equipment :thumb:

What he said. And if you think you're tight on space.....

The drums are going to be relocated to another room this week. The cases have already been relocated to two racks in the garage.

Music room pretty much sums it up.

I call mine "the office", while my wife simply calls it "the studio". There's a lot to be said for understatement.

Yeah, it needs a lot more stuff in there. I was thinking of going to buy a rug today. I need to get a couple small tables, and I'd like to put another chair in there. I have another stool, I need to wipe down.

Once I hang the guitars, they will take up most of the wall space. The wall with the futon, probably going to put fabric covered soundboard, or some foam.

Haven't decided if I'm going to put my 60" in here. It's just sitting in a box in my bedroom. It'd be a lot easier to mount in the music room.

Yeah, I know. It kind of sticks.

I just bought my daughter a car, on Tuesday. She named it, something from Game of Thrones. I can't remember the damn name. My ex, came up with Midget Mobile. That turns into MiMo! I can remember that!

    Why, yes you do!

Love that amp. I ripped out the Celestions, though... and put a couple WGS Retro 10 in there. Plus replaced the backing boards, with Baltic Birch. Makes the cabs a bit darker, but a lot of thump.
