list of famous norlin players

    i tried the search function but it came up with nothing.

    Don't think I've seen a list on here, though I can recall a norlin warhorses thread with pictures of many famous norlin players. To name a few:

    Billy duffy of the Cult plays an 80 custom I think
    mike ness with his goldtop deluxe
    Scott gorham with his lp deluxe

    Try most of the hard rock bands of the seventies. Not a lot had 'bursts or early SG's.

    Peter Frampton didn't use a Norlin. His original LP Custom was a converted '54.

    But, in any case. I'm surprised nobody mentioned Frank Zappa, Al Di Meola, Terry Kath (Chicago), and the most famous Norlin player of all, Les Paul.

    Kerry Livgren
    Tommy Shaw
    Gene Klein, Stanley Eisen, Paul Frehley
    Donald Rosier, Alan Lanier
    Alex Lifeson
    John Fogerty
    Mark Farner
    Steve Jones
    James Williamson...

    to name a few!
