Plain top lovers>>>
Flame top lover>>
Sorry??? Its just a toss off...I mean up?
My boy has a blue + top and its da one...stock photo>>
PS that '69 P-90 KILLS If ya like faded guitars put em out in the yard...if ya want to keep em nice ...don't, and maybe the paint won't fade? But than again Im a clown too.
I like the plaintops a lot. (especially the Tobacco and Honey bursts! But, then again...maybe I like 'em so much because I can't have one in a lefthanded model! )
The grass is always greener right?
Quilts on mah beds..not on mah gee-tars!!
Oh yeah!!! (but then again, Epi has it in their minds that lefties are a borg like subspecies, and we don't want any other colors other than HCB!!! )
On Sweetwater the lefty Standard +'s are listed for less than the righty Standard +'s. That's pretty unusual right?
Actually...yeah, it is.
They must be tryin' to dump some inventory...wow....
Yeah they have quite a few in stock.
Those are the black standards, right?
Nope the HCS. The price is actually still more than most of the other music websites have the righty standard plus listed for but less than sweetwater does. When I ordered my boyfriend's guitar from them I got it price matched. I guess price matching wouldn't help in this case.
Edit: Same goes for the Ebony Standard but I was referring to the HCS.
I've got a Korean honeyburst winging it's way over to me as we speak... At least i hope so. Probably turn out to be HCS tho.
Oh, and i'm partial to flame tops myself!
Yeah...the good 'ol HCB Flametop.
Great guitars....even better used!!
Oh man...if it's Honey you gotta show some pics!
Will do mate, i've only ever seen one lefty honeyburst, hopefully this will be the second!
Although that HCS of your looks very sweet indeed.
honeys are a moveable feast, man - they vary so much it's not even funny.
Thanks, Northlight. It's kind of a beater in person. (although it inadvertantly got all the same stuff that '59 one has that they're sellin...sans the long tenon and baseball bat neck. )
I really like my flames.
I used to love plus tops but there are too many of them and on time I ended up preferring plain tops, I feel they are more authentic, with more presence or something like that. By the way, in Mexico plain tops are more expensive than plus tops, I don't know why.
Here's a pic of my VSPT:
The guys with with plain tops take better photos of their guitars! I love plain tops
Get some of both, no decision necessary.
SWEEEET!!! love the plain with the matt finish.
