I'm normally tuned into the humour of this forum but this time I'm not.
This is not funny and not a subject for puns nor 'jokes'.
In my humble opinion.
Gallows humor, while crass, is a good way of coping with a bad situation. I have a very good example from work this morning, but I'm confident I'd be shown the door or at least placed on most people's ignore list if I shared it.
Actually, some of my best jokes have been inspired by the corpse in the room.

I've never been a cop, but as an eight-year EMT, I can corroborate this. Many emergency workers find humor a healthy way to deal with the stuff they see every day.
