Went with the daughter and grand kids on an airport/toysrus run today.
Airport is right by GC, ToysRus is right next to Sam Ash.
    I had a big time.
Played a Peerless Monarch, two Artcores, an Epi 175, an epi Century and a Casino just like yours. The Casino was the clear winner in today's round of battle of the axes. I really, really liked it. I was totally impressed. No disappointments.

Would like to hear a report on how you're getting on with yours???

From what I saw, congrats on making a fine choice.

Mark it is one of the best guitars I have ever played. The thing was next to nothing and I get that Lennon jiggle on some chords. These P90s are strong close to a humbucker feel and the voice is so different that I can't say it's like any other guitar.

It blew me away. I agree. You may have seen that I've had the hots for a Century. I've tried em three times now and as much as I want to love one, they always feel low end to me. The Casino just felt like the real deal. I didn't see any shortcuts. Smooth and wonderful. Unplugged, it blew everything out of the water. Just a really nice guitar.
    Congrats again buddy.

The hollow body does have an acoustic value. My 335 is close to silent unplugged. No secret that I love the Beatles. This guitar does the Beatles to a T just like open G hits the a Stones.
The Epiphones I have are total pro, this Casino and my Firebird. The Casino is its own way a symbol of music of the 1960's and John Lennon. Epiphone makes this guitar near as perfect as possible.

You aren't back yet? Picking up a guitar doesn't take all night if you know what you are buying.

    Not this month Doc.
    Broke down and busted.
I started on a 330 and recently had to hots to chase another one.
Lusting after the Century put me on the archtop quest, which sorta went full circle back to a 330.
Playing the Casino cured all that.
No Century, no archtop, no 330.
When it does come time to scratch that itch, I think it'll be the Casino.

I bought the Casino Coupe, I like the 339 body but I am not a fan of the wiring. This is a 339 with nice pickups. It was under $500, the case was $90 bucks and that shoved it over $500 bucks.

    So cool!!!!

I like the 339's, Epi coupes and the shrunken down Gretsches as well. Would love one in the 3 tone sunburst. Nice score Kevinpaul.

    Hi guys!

Another heads-up for the current Casinos!

I´ve tried a bunch lately, and I liked the current MIC´s very much - even more so than 2 90´s MIK´s I had around!

    cheers - 68.

The Casino I had compared beautifully in EVERY WAY to my '68/'69 ES330.
    Even acoustically.
    Shockingly good guitar.
