here's a few of Keith's guitars that might not have been seen.
Here is a James Trussart steelcaster given to Keith on the last tour by Carl Harvey from Toots and the Maytals.

here's a very rare Tony Zematis guitar built for and given to Keith Richards

Keith did not have Malcom (the tele with the stones decal on the top bout) or Micawber nor the sunburst Tele on the '69 tour. Besides, where is Taylor's SG and Keith two non Bigsby Customs? The second pic clearly shows Dice, KR's LP Jr on the far left, Malcom in the middle as well as Stanley Clarke's two bass's along with Ron's guitars.

You know it's funny. When Clapton moved from Gibson to Fender I was (and still am) very mad because his tone was best as a Gibson LP or SG + Marshall tone. But with Keef I prefer him with Fender Telecasters and Tweed Twin amps as opposed to his early Gibson LP + Ampeg SVT tone. I actually prefer his Exile era tone best.

Micawber is my favorite Keith guitar. Keith is my rhythm guitar hero. I keep a Tele with 5 strings in Open G just for those Stones riffs. Keith is the best rhythm guitarist IMO.

You know what he says: "5 strings, 2 fingers, and 1 asshole"! :thumb:

I donĀ“t think the above video says too much about Keith Richards guitars. It does, however, remind you NOT to hire Hells Angels as security for your next gig !
What a disgrace and rude awakening after Woodstock.

Is Keith playing more Gibsons now than he used to do?

Just whatched "Shine a light" where he used "Micawber" twice, "Malcolm" once, "Sonny" once and the black Telecaster Custom once.

Otherwise it was the white 345 and the black 355 all over it (Dice once).

Not sure; but I do know that Black 355 is one of his favorite guitars, his main guitar for standard tuning, and he has used the hell out of it ever since he got it. I certainly want one because of his.
