    It's been a while since I started a thread (nothing much to say), so Here's a couple pics from a build I'm in the middle of.

    This is the first Rail Rider build that incorporates a regulated DC power supply for V1 & V2 heaters. As well I've added a choke.

    All of the components are in place but I haven't done any of the wiring.

    What do "heaters" do? Do they actually heat things?

    That they do. It's a heating element inside the tube that boils off electrons which are used to make all that wonderful noise we hear from our amps.

    It's a bit more technical than that, but I'm being a lazy typist.
