I just bought my dream amp & took it home plugged my stratin & its very bassy & when driven its not the jtm45 overdrive its muddy & sounds blocked up, its a ceriatone with a post phase investor master volume, , i have tried different settings with the mids & treble on 0 & bass on 1 & its not to bad but not as bright as it should be, i was thinking is it because its a new amp & needs to be run in
my, speaker is a celestial vintage 30 singe cab a orange.
i don't know if its faulty tubes or what, any input would be much appreciated.

    thanx forum..

That's a tough one. Different tubes can definitely have a different effect on your overall tone be it bass, treble, or mid response but your situation sounds more severe. This could also be something else entirely. I'd suggest bringing it to a reputable tech so they can go over the layout and check for issues.
