    No not at all. ;)

Great vids, John 5 seems like a really nice guy.

Also good to see someone who loves/collects Tele's like the way he does. Money in the bank, great investments :thumb:

Yeah he seems pretty cool, I've been following his stuff lately. I like that he incorporates banjo rolls and country licks into metal. He played with Les Paul once too.

I finally got around to recording some sound-clips of "Leo" the Esquire with the Ash body. First sound-clip shows how each position of the 3 way Tone switch sounds. 1.Tone on about 7-8, 2.Tone bypassed and 3. Tone switched with two caps .003 +.002 = .005uf I used 250K CTS pots, CRL 3 way switch, 22 awg cloth covered wire and all vintage ceramic disc caps in the wiring harness.

The second sound-clip is a little chicken picken' thing I did, Tone bypassed everything wide open. The Early Tele's and Esquire's were supposed to emulate a lap steel and were used by a lot of country pickers so I thought it was only fitting to get a little twang thang going on. Rhythm and lead tracks were both done on the first take.

All clips are mic'd up into my PC studio and I used my valve jr. 5 watt tube amp turned up about half run into a Marshall 4 x 12 cabinet.

Ok just to be fair and avoid the Telecaster/Esquire country twang stereotype I went ahead and laid down a "Hard Rockin" track. I think this Esquire really pulls some nice Thick Rock Tones as well. Cranked the valve jr. all the way up for this one;)

Got an order from one of my regular customers from California for 3 Left Handed 4 way Tele rigs with LH counter-rotating CTS Pots, 4 way switches and vintage .047 Bumble Bees. Shipped one out last week and these 2 are going out today.

I Recorded some sound-clips of the Sheptone 10K Ceramic Humbucker with double screw bobbins that is in the bridge of my Maple top Tele. Shep just made a limited number of these pickups.

I used the 5 watt valve jr. tube amp and Marshall 4 x 12 cabinet for all the clips with different gain settings. I really like this Sheptone pickup a lot and find it very responsive. Even though it has a ceramic magnet I did not find it to be harsh, but very warm and vocal. See what you think?
