Do I see two buttons under the pick guard at the end of it? Also, I just got through watching Whole Lotta Love from "The Song Remains the Same", when he plays this guitar. Looks like there is no volute on the back of head, but it has a big head stock; I would say it is probably a late 1969 model because it has the pancake body & big head & no volute.

The Jimmy Page body building regimen...

    Is it No. 1?

    Is the bridge cover missing?

Hears Jimmy's early Elvis doing skiffle impression.

Now a very early pic of #1 with it's original nickel cover on the bridge. still very clean and the burst looks quite dark.

Jimmy looks over his shoulder and sees what might have been?.

    ....thank god it wasn't.

    "The force is strong"

Jimmy plays #2 through his "ORGE" amp's in London.

 What! You don't know who Keith "the loon" Moon is. He came up with the name Led Zeppelin.

I thought that might be Keith Moon, but I was not sure; at the LA Forum? I know he played "Rock and Roll" with them there in 1977 (For Badge Holders Only); I used to have a bootleg album of that one. Yes, I knew he came up with the name for LZ; seems like he told them their band would fall like a led balloon, thus the name. I was not sure if that was him; looks a little heavier than I remember & the facial hair threw me.

Well he did put it about quite a lot during the 70's, I'll ask my mother, fingers crossed :fingersx:

This pic shows the strat one used on "Ten years gone" and had been in the possession of John Paul Jones until he gave it back to Jimmy not long before this was shot .
