Has anyone here played one of these?

I was wondering what the sound like. I've heard it doesn't sound like a LP so I'm curious to hear how you guys would describe it.

    Thanks
    Gary

Chris Spedding uses one. I have seen him playing it live for Jeff Wayne's War of The Worlds. Sadly it was highly processed through what I suspect was Zoom unit.
I have also seen him play it with Bryan Ferry alongside a Les Paul player. It was truely unremarkable compared to the Les Paul. Looks cool but that's about it.

    Thanks for the response Nugget.

I checked some of the videos of Chris Spedding on You Tube. Sometimes it sounds good others not so good. The sound quality on You Tube sometimes leaves a lot to be desired. :hmm:

Actually a friend of mine has a Trussart tele and the same one as Chris Spedding. I have played it myself. I'm the kind of guy who would not be able to resist one of those but it left me feeling so unimpressed that I almost forgot I'd played it.
Interesting piece of art that you can play and that's about it.
