Apologies if I've missed something.
not sure scratching " F ' it " on the lower bout adds much to it
He's got an extremely high opinion of his relicing abilities as it is a cheap 70s Japanese Electra made to look like hetfields, real V, down to the alleged 'fake' headstock break.
This is the same guy who post pics of his gear here.
He should trade trade it for a Yugo, he'd be the winner in that deal.
Mojunk, I'll offer 15.00 and a cookie.
might be 14.00 too much, tho
That ain't right..
COOL!! thanks for heads up. I just snagged it!
The guitar looks really cool.
Bolt on neck? Geez, I'll bet the original didn't have that special feature...
I actualky like that guitar and I don't like relics. The price is about $7500 too expensive.
The price is WAY too high. I have a 1983 Electra Phoenix guitar (not a V but a Strat type), and mine is mint. I've checked, and guitars like mine sell for in the $300 to $400 range mint, with case. That is about what I paid for it new in 1983. I can't imagine a beat-up Electra being worth more than $100 -- if that.
You aren't paying for the guitar, you're paying for the "art" in making it look like a POS, and his ego, thinking there's a single human who will be willing to pay for it. He's had it on feebay for years, and started at 10K for it.
Wow, this is almost a joke! I guess one can "ask" for just about anything. Whether they get it is another matter. I suppose I could politely ask for sex with Taylor Swift (which might be better than her music). Of course, getting it would be a totally different matter.
Ya you hate to see some guy get ripped off thinking it's some kind of official relic model but really anyone who is dropping that kind of coin would certainly know....and ask....and pay close attention so the irony is the tactic will work against the seller
Its no joke, there are truly some hardcore idiots out there.
I see the term "cork sniffer" tossed around alot on this forum, but this is the first instance i feel "glue sniffer" fits most appropriately.
...My guitar is 100% original, not a cheap Chinese copy...but a cheap Japanese copy of Flying V...
