I've been lusting over a Groundswell pedalboard for a year or two, but never pulled the trigger, partly because my pedals were in a state of flux over that time. I think I've recently got it pretty close to where I want it and so when the price dropped a few days ago, it pushed me over the edge. Here's my starting point (no real attempt to make this neat as I knew I was going to either make or buy a nice board once I settled on things). I ordered the natural walnut "longboard" from Jeff at Groundswell and got some custom options of an IEC inlet, one 1/4" input, two 1/4" outputs and mounting brackets underneath for my power supplies. Jeff has been really great to work with and is sending lots of updates. I thought you guys might be interested in seeing some of the build progress, so here are some shots that he has sent me so far... Friday... Routed and initial clamping Deck painted jet black per my request Final clamping Saturday... Holes filled and oil applied. It will need about 4 days to dry before some semi-gloss goes on. I'll update more as I get them and also when I get the board and start loading it up.
