    Nope, they'd be reflectors still for part of '67, (those are the original 60's reflectors, I'd bet they are stock) then they'd be witch hats, not top hats.:D
    And that is definitely the correct 5 layer wider bevel guard.
    DEFINITELT a '67!!
    The 00 SN# prefix for these is bulletproof, there were NO large guard SGs made in 1966.

    message for tonewheelz - greetings! i'm the guy that had to sell that sg to guitar center (north of houston). that guitar originally came from a small mom / pop music store in humble, tx called band together. i bought that in 1996 for $1600. loved that thing, but i had to unload it because of a family emergency. contact me if you need any more information about the guitar or need to see other photos i took before i took it. take care - chris
