One of the many exciting big things happening at ReWind Electric in 2018 is a move to a new and bigger shop space, to accommodate increased volume of business and new products and services. The new spot is about 10 hours West, clear on the other side of the Rockies, at the edge of the Mojave. Outside of Las Vegas in Utah, near Arizona.

I take the keys in just a few weeks so, if you want any work done from me in the typical lightning-fast turnaround time, NOW is the time to get those orders in!

As a side note, I'd sure like to move with more cash and less bins of parts and boxes of wire (steel and copper are heavy!) so I might be willing to cut a bit of a break on builds right now, even if I don't make much or anything, especially if you're buying more than one set of pickups. Just sayin'. The timing could be real good for you right now if you are in need.

You know how to reach me: 202-246-0147 info@re-wind.net

Here's to new horizons and new ventures! Much gratitude to all those here who have supported me as I've grown my company so much over the years. It's been wild! Now this adventure takes another big turn. Keep an eye out for some really exciting stuff coming up this year from ReWind!

    Obligatory eye candy:

I've been out that way at night - and also near Roswell. I haven't seen any of those guys yet, but looking up at the sky from the unpopulated areas of Utah at night is an absolute experience. You can see satellites, meteors and the edge of the galaxy warping around us with just the naked eye. It's really amazing.

I'm looking forward to seeing how fast nitro cures out there. :)

Though I've loved my time here in Colorado, an absolutely beautiful and breathtaking state, it's time to move on. Cost of living, property availability, laws, taxes and such are now much more appealing in other areas. Especially for a business. I found a place that has even better weather and more sunshine, with lower crime, lower taxes, a higher quality of life, and a great property available for both my family and business. I'm also excited for better year-round enjoyment of the outdoors, which has become a real passion of mine, since moving out here. Total win, all around!

Did you know speakers sound better in drier climates? It's true!

If you are moving to out around St. George, they don't take much stock in strangers, and they don't like company.
But the painted desert is nice. Especially the sunsets.

Well, that's unfortunate. If that's the case, they will just have to get used to me. I'm bringing my wife, who already has a job to transfer to there and is finishing her degree at the local college, and a successful business with plenty of tax dollars to town. All I need is a place to make a little dust and noise, an internet connection, and a post office.

I'm a good neighbor and would prefer the locals be my friends, but if they choose not to for any reason, they will just have to learn to live with me.

I've got a couple acquaintances in the state and a friend from high school in SLC. I've only heard good reviews, so far. Either way, I'm a strong pioneer and I won't let my feelings get hurt if the locals don't want to be pals. I'm there for business and enjoyment of the outdoors and nobody can stop me from either.

Last call for anything built, fixed, or modded fast.

I'm beginning to crate up machines. I'll save the main winder for last, in about 3-4 days. After that, most work received will be delayed, starting with about a 3 week turnaround and may grow, depending my workload.

I will try to get that back to the typical 3-5 day turnaround ASAP but can't make solid predictions on that until I see what comes my way while I'm down.

Two or three of you have guitars here that need to be paid, so they can ship back to you before my move. You know who you are. Make it happening! :p

Thanks much to those who have already reached out in response to this with kind wishes for the move and orders. You guys keep the gears (and cams) turning!
