Fo my 70's Classic! ...or one of them anyways.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Set-of-6-70s-Style-Cast-Bridge-Saddles-for-Fender-Stratocaster-Strat-CHROME/191902070782?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid=222007&algo=SIM.MBE&ao=2&asc=45042&meid=d000e734fb41410c9e3bccd7e09dd951&pid=100005&rk=6&rkt=6&mehot=ag&sd=172745603471 Hey, why not..It'd be interesting to experiment..and see just how bad they are LOL..though the stock units on my old 74 Tele Thinline were JUST fine..as were all of the other 70's Fenders I have seen or played..the '74 Strat I just tried was great too! It wasn't until the forum experts told me how bad they truly were.. Funny, back in the day..I sure don't recall anyone retrofitting the bent steel saddles..if they intonated and were able to be height adjustable, they were good enough!! They were certainly good enough for Robin Trower and Ritchie Blackmore.. They look the part in my opinion! A '72 for comparison: For 20 bucks, why not? I have 2 70's Classics..one of them is gonna get a set just to see!
