I've hard farm raised..and man the meat is SOOO delicous..almost sweet in taste!
So much so, at your suggestion, I just had it for dinner.
i'm glad i inspired a love of food connection.
I finally broke ranks and had a take-out lunch today. First fast-food expenditure in a month.
I was on some sort of "how cost-efficient can I possibly get" things, just for an experiment.
I was passing by this Greek burger joint, had an absolutely decadent pastrami sandwich. Loaded with fatty, tasty pastrami.
Wolfed that thing down like it was a last meal.
Gluten free bagel sandwich, Greek yogurt, banana, protein bar. It's been too hot and muggy to eat anything junky and do long hard hours of manual labor. I decided to turn the next few weeks into "lose the gut" mode.

Wixom actually..I moved up here to be closer to work.
I know (or knew I should say..lots of change!) Hartland pretty well. My brother in law lives off Maxfield off of Cundy Rd, my Gramps lived off Argentine Rd north of Clyde.
We raised a Hereford here and reluctantly had it slaughtered when in a severe drought we ran out of water.
After hanging we dressed and packed the meat ourselves. Big mistake as she was a pet sort of, even had a name. (Brandi) Big mistake! We couldn't eat it, though people we gave meat to said it was great. Gave it all away and bought meat from the butcher again.
