Thanks for posting so many nice photos. I hope to have an ES soon, preferably an ES-345, but I would not turn down the right one at the given time. Mike, do you have any links to music? Thanks again.

    SURE !!! :dude:

Well Alvin played a red ES 335, so of course I had to have a couple of those.
    From left to right :

1965 ES 335 with Kæhler removal signed and played for 10 sec by Alvin - Heritage Alvin Lee sig. 535 ( these are great alternative to Gibson ) - Alvin Lee Big Red aged and signed #38 of 50

I also love an ES with a Bigsby on : Larry Carlton sig - 1967 345 - White Diamond edition

Alvinfan i remember when Larry Briggs had this guitar for sale in the 1980's ,It was priced very inexpensively for Alvin Lee's iconic guitar{under 3K as i remember but not sure of exact price} but i did not pull the trigger on it.Dumb i know. Thanks Mike B.

I will have to check as i am not sure which Alvin Lee guitar it was .It is in the old book the 3 Amigo's put out years ago Guitars ,Guitars' Guitars that showed hundreds of guitars that were for sale at their shows and i think the 335 was one of them and Larry Briggs ended up with it.I have the book packed away in the attic and an old sales list with the guitar but where in the mess of an attic is the question.Anyone else remember this guitar for sale?I could easily have the wrong guitar but i do remember the guitar as having the peace sign on it..M.B.

The best guitar I have ever played was a lovely 336. Felt so comfortable in my hands. I loved it. Hopefully one day I will be able to afford one.

Hey Mike there is a great excuse to clean up the attic :thumb:
Who knows what other treasures that might surface :D
I would love to see the old sales list and then wish I could go back in time.

Rock on and thanks for your great contributions to this forum ! :dude:

One day i will get in there but it will be a while. Here is a List of guitars i was selling in 1986-87 these prices will make you cry but this is what i was selling these guitars for then .Hope you can read it .MINT with tags ES-1959-335-3550.00--Discounted from 3750.00--Insane today.Well enjoy and dream if you can read it .If not copy it and blow it up in one of the photo-shops.I did not put the Cents in the listing so 4500 is 4500.00, 650 is 650.00 1750 is 1750.00, 3750 is 3750.00,etc,Mike B.
