Of course Satan is a lefty
The zombie hamster, WHERE"S THE ZOMBIE HAMSTER?
Fenders are EVIL!
Yes..a good Strat can come in and throw a grenade into your life..and make you play it more than your Gibsons.
...take er easy, she's my baby...
Hey that's pretty good!
Sometimes, live is better without fenders....
The older I get the more I dig Telecasters.
I have no idea why.
Not that I don't like other guitars and love LP's, but Teles were always kind of, "Eww!" to me. But sure enough year after year they got a little more attractive until one day I realized just how cool and simple they are. They're cool because they're simple and not trying to be anything other than a plank with strings on it.
It's a desert island guitar. They just work.
I bought a cheap Squier Tele 2-3 years ago and I play it constantly, mostly just because it's always out and around while the nicer guitars are in cases. It's too easy to just reach over and grab the Tele,..and throw it across the room when I'm done,..because it'll be just fine,..because it's a Tele.
Mine looks like this, but darker. I keep meaning to get a Blackguard for it and never actually get around to it.
Because I like it so much I'm pretty sure I'll eventually end up with a couple more different Teles, like a BSB and maybe a Thinline or a Custom....eventually.
They just work, and take a beating. I sort of enjoy the rugged simplicity of them and that you never really worry about it. If it falls over, who cares it's a Tele. It's going to be fine.
It's a great boat paddle, too. Shoot, lash a couple together and they'd probably make a decent raft.
A Tele is a workhorse. It'll take anything you throw at it and keep on chugging.
that looks like a horrific strat !!
honestly, that guitar body needs a proper set of electronics, new neck, and trem, and everything else. it was a cheapo back in the late 80s and the best thing about it was and still is, the graphic.
Jimmay did ye worship Devil?'
"I ummmm,,,,,just was "joking"....you know...dibbling and dabbling... Not Devil...just minor demons......"
Speaking of teles, I recommend staggered tuners, and then get rid of your string tree
works good for Strats too
You can make a Fender sound like a Gibson...but you can't make a Gibson sound like Fender...
