I mean how much did you PAY for them? For example, I bought all of them second hand but in very good nick. Please do not include the cost of the box or PS on the survey.

I'll start.... 7 pedals: full-size wah, overdrive, EQ, comp, phaser, distortion and reverb : Total £220 (around $260). Very happy with them BTW!

Tough question, but an interesting thought. I imagine I would have paid around $1000 AUD for the pedals on my board.

I just sold off all my pedals and got a Headrush pedalboard, so I am at 1.099 € :)

The pedals I had before were around the same value. I didn´t have a lot, but only high priced stuff that I mostly bought new.

    Wahcko+ WahWah
    Way Huge Overrated Special
    Boss AC 3
    EHX Epitome
    Digitech droptune
    Earthquaker The Hoof Fuzz

    and a few smaller ones:)

    Cheers,

    CT

I bought them all new. Being that I gig with it I didn't want any issues.

Is this thread the "... but honey look what the guys spent" thread? Lolol;)

Edit: I should be just over $1000 not counting power supply, board, or cables etc.

I've bought mostly new pedals, but four of the fifteen I have were used. I've spent $1800 CDN. I have to take a new photo.

Ouch, this is painful. Last time I did the math, including power supply & patch cables, I have about 2,500 euros on my pedalboard. If I add the smaller one too, around 3,000 euros.

    Then again, who's counting...?

Just over £2000 with my board as it stands.

More like £3000 you count the ones that currently aren't on my board.

They are worth the sound you get from them. The rest is up to you, son!

Yeah, I'm not playing this game... I started to add it up once but stopped when I got cold sweats halfway.

Current board has about $2000 worth of pedals $400 in cables $500 in power supplies. Then add in the pedals not on the board and I'm well past $4000.

It looks as I'm in the minority here. $260 seems a minuscule amount compared to the thousands spent by some. However I don't think I have to spend more.

My list of pedals with rounded up prices:

    JEN Crybaby - £40
    Mooer Blues Crab - £30
    Joyo EQ - £15
    Mooer Yellow Comp - £35
    Mooer Phaser - £35
    Mooer Black Secret - £30
TC Electronic HOF mini - £40

I was born early 70s. Guitarists used to spend a lot of money on the best guitar they could afford. A similar amount on the amp. Finally, we spent a fairly modest amount on a few dependable effects to add versatility. Often no more than 2 or 3. I remember a few fellow musicians making fun of my bass-playing brother because he dared to use 2 pedals with his bass (EQ and chorus) back then. They used to call him "the pilot" as he changed sounds and tweaked the knobs in between songs.
Now it seems that not having a pedalboard with at least 20 boutique pedals (the more obscure the better) means that you can't sound good... Erm.... don't think so.

Which board? When? Where? What for?

I have 3 different boards in rotation, plus the band board, and they never stay the same for longer than a few sessions, except for the band board which tends to rotate, or lately subtract, a pedal bi-monthly.

    Hard to say.
Except for the one I assembled and my vol pedal, I bought them decades ago.

    Currently I use

Dunlop Cry Baby -> Ibanez TS9 -> EB Jr. volume pedal -> Boss DD3 -> Boss PH2 -> BYOC Reverb
