Yesterday's Wall Street Journal article describes Frida, a yellow Labrador with the Mexican Navy (Marina), that has become a national hero in the wake of the 19 Sep earthquake. She's found numerous survivors in the rubble. Unfortunately, the full article requires a subscription. Pics are from the article. Her working gear includes 'doggles,' vest, and booties. They want to put her on the 500 peso note. She's gets requests for selfies while on the job. Subject of graffiti in Juarez. Her handler is justifiably proud.

Smart Handler to protect her so well!

She definitely deserves all the love coming her way!

And the Halo is certainly an accurate detail, whether we can see it or not!
