Cool story, thanks.
I’m always trying to get a Larson Cartoon that sort of "fits" with what we are discussing in this lighthearted Thread.
There certainly is a "sales pitch" going on at Gibson as Henry & his cohorts try to think of ways to increase sales & profitability.
This thread is...

Worse, yet, is that Gibson is claiming that they need a whole new factory to improve 335 quality.
..............will check it out later but sounds like a combination of smoke & mirrors with a little "boot strapping" thrown in for good measure.
Keep changing things so the lenders don't get a handle on what is really going on.
It is true that a failry major portion of Gibsons current Memphis facility is much more than manufacturing. It has mega show rooms, live concert areas, etc..
A smaller/cheaper facility only for production IMO would be a improvement in many, if not all, areas of building quality guitars only.

Hey Bernard, check out the face on the guy sitting down next to the Cans on the stand.
His expression says it all.
The guy behind him taking pics is a happy camper, so HJ is obviously trying to get out of the crapper by looking at different markets.
I hate to say it but it is a changing market, that’s for sure.
Who really knows what will happen in a Society geared up for instant gratification.
Hey I know, the Gibson Love Robot. Let HJ give you a HJ.
If the move to a smaller facitlity helps reduce overhead costs and saves employee jobs in this guitar market then IMO it's a good move.
