Hello I was wondering if someone could help me determine an approximate value of a 2005 Gibson Les Paul Special SL USA made guitar....it is Black EB Ebony in color appears to be in excellent condition, with a mahogany neck. It is a Sans Lacquer guitar with polyurethane finish. It is a slab body with humbuckers.

The only similar ones to this one I saw online priced in the $1200 range, but they are "classic" models so I assume that those are worth more than this Special SL. Any help will be much appreciated. I know very little about guitars.

If I violated any rules please let me know what it is and I will revise the post. Please bear with me I am a member here, but this is only my 2nd post and my last one was 4 years ago.

I'm not sore about the Lp Specials with humbucker, but I picked up a 2000 LP Special Lit with P-100's off of CL last December for $230

I'm thinking that the one you're looking at should be about $500-$650 or so.

DAMN, that is a cool looking guitar. I'd make you an offer if I had it ($).
