Help Me Decide

What goes best with a maple neck, maple fretboard?

  1. Black Body / Black Pick Guard

  2. Olympic White Body / Mint Pick Guard

I planned on getting a Variax with a black body / black pickguard, and putting a Warmouth maple neck / maple fretboard on it.
But the Olympic White / mint pickguard has caught my attention. You don't see too many white guitars with a maple neck and FB and I always think they look pretty good.
These are the only two choices I care about. What do you think?

Donal; the '59 has a bit of a chunky neck and it's a set neck. So I can't change it like I can with a '69. I thought about getting a '59 and sanding down the profile myself, which I feel I'm capable of doing. But it would be a big project and just ordering exactly what I want from Warmouth seems like a less stress alternative.

So White / Mint it is. I ordered the guitar and a Warmouth replacement neck already. The Warmouth neck will take 8 to 10 weeks, geesh!! My arthritic hands can't wait.
For those interested, here's the neck I ordered:
Birdseye Maple neck, 24.75" scale conversion, wizard profile (.750"/.820")
Earvana White GraphTech TUSQ, 1 11/16" nut
Birdseye Maple fret board, 10 - 16" compound radius
    22 frets, SS 6105 wire, .095"x.047"
Azurite Malachite dot inlays, with black side dots
    Clear satin nitro finish.
