Guys I need your oppinion about this option..

I want to buy one of this used guitar, and the options are:

    1. Epiphone LP Gold Top MIJ (there are several dings in body)
    2. Gibson USA LP Studio Red Wine (mint condition)

The price is roughly same. Which one will give me better value?

    Thanks

Buy whatever the hell you want. We don't have to live with the choice.
    Good luck.

Taking advice from a Swede is a bit risky, in my opinion.

The answer to your question should be obvious. Looking for validation?

My question is...what the heck happened all over the inside of that case? Looks like someone was doing runs up and down the fingerboard and went so fast they couldn't contain themself.

The MIJ will probably hold its value far better than the studio. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if it even appreciated over time. The prices for Japanese made Epis are really taking off lately.

Epiphone brand is also under gibson.. So epi also american, but made outside US. Buying either brand, you're still support america. Buying epiphone you're also support other country mate. :slash:

Ok.. thanks for the input. :)

They're both used, so Gibson won't profit either way. :)

If you're leaning towards the Goldtop, have that one.

Good choice:) Word of advice, next time try them both out, and forget the brand...which ever one sings to you is the one you need.

Smart choice, the Studios are a dime a dozen.
