I've had the Batz Maru bass for 10+ years; nice short scale for recording.

I found the Strat not long ago. Be still my heart. What a pair.

Very cool. I've GASing for a pink Hello Kitty strat, but the prices are ridiculous nowadays. Too bad, it would be great with a SD Invader in it ;)

EDIT: You need one of those as well ;)

I have the pink strat. I'll have to find my pics later.

I dropped an SH10 in the bridge, but the rest is all stock.

I have a pink HK Strat too, and I gig with it often too.

I love the set up of this guitar, this and the Squier 51 are "my kind of Strat"

I dropped a lairier Warman pickup into mine and a bone top nut, but mine too is stock otherwise

Even though I like chunkier necks, this thinner one feels pretty OK for me.

I've always been amused (in a good way) at how "br00tal" these things can sound. In the right hands, they can scream.

I have one. My wife got it as a VD gift a few years ago . . .
The pup is some kind of Duncan design thing, and through the amp,
it sounds as hard as any metal type gear. Pretty funny.

A goof around rig, the terror of Tinytown!!

Seeing as you've already got the guitar, the next step is to get yourself one of these:

I have the pink one as well. Bought it, hoping my daughter would take an interest in learning. She didn't, but the guitar is so surprisingly nice, I've kept it.

Speaking as a very heterosexual man I am somewhat surprised by my considerable gas for that pink Kitty guitar ...

    Most amusing! :)

What's more amusing is that they are already becoming collectable and prices are rising....:eek2:

    Better get one soon! :jam:

Yeah, you see them offered for 300€ +, which is just madness.
It was originally a 100 bucks guitar, wasn't it ?

I would spend 150 on one, just for shits and giggles,
I'd put a Seymour Duncan Invader or something in it, tune it to B and play Amon Amarth riffs :headbanger:

I've got a pink one too, bought it new a bunch of years ago for $175 CDN.
I originally bought it for my gf who was interested in playing. It never took off for her but I kept the guitar.

Are they seriously becoming "rare" and "collectable"?
It's actually sitting in a storage locker right now. Maybe by the time I'm 90 it'll be like the fabled '59s and I can finally live large. :laugh2:
