Greetings all, I hope your don't mind me posting this in the vintage forum,
Half of it concerns vintage guitars (Kalamazoo made but not Les Pauls), and the other half is Les Paul based but not vintage!

Recent purchases have led me to own the bass equivalents of my guitars, I was wondering if anyone else has some cool matching bass/guitar pairings!

My first pairing is a 1964 Epiphone Casino and a 1964 Epiphone Rivoli Bass.

Strangely both had in another life been used left handed,
The Casino was more fortunate and had just had a new strap button hole and pick guard hole made,
The Ravoli was less fortunate and had been drilled out for left handed controls =[
These have been plugged and touched up.

These are both absolute dreams to play, which is fortune as these are very much 'players' rather than for the collectors!

My other pairing, one which has really balls is this:

Ah the Les Paul Bass, not the most popular of instruments, but one I really love.
This pairing is made up of a CC28 STP Burst and an early 90's Les Paul Bass.

Gibson basses just aren't as popular as the Fender equivalents, but for a bassist who likes things things a bit different they are first thing that should be visited as well as Rickenbacker.

Both these girls absolutely roar, you don't see many bands with a les Paul and bass combo.

I think the next pairing I need to explore is this:

I already have a very heavily modified EB3 so it looks like I need to go SG shopping!

So go on, show me some amazing guitar/bass pairings to show some love for the 4 string players among us!
