You have to instruct me how to get that if I don't have the guitar yet. :)

Typically, yes, unless they have serial number choices. This one wasn't. It showed the actual guitar with the Slash Signature and #39 on it. I should have taken cell phone shots from my computer screen. Don't blame you for asking. These puppies are rare! Chuck M

I'll be anxious to try it out, but also afraid to use it! :) If everything including the neck profile is what I think it is, fantastic. I love heavy bodies and fat, chunky necks! I had the Tommy Thayer Silver Spaceman Les Paul and really liked that neck, but a friend bugged me sssooo much to buy it, I let him ... uses it on stage all the time. Wait until he sees this??? :) I may buy a non-signed one to use and keep this one hanging on the wall. Chuck M

    Congrats on your new beauty!

If this got the feel like the 1960 V3 I will probably get one as well.

When it comes in, I'll get thickness of the neck at 1st and 12th frets to give you an idea.

I checked for the heck of it (non-signed ones):
AMS, out until end of July
    Sweetwater, out with no date.
    Sam Ash, in stock.

Thanks Chuck. Down here I was told they expect it to arrive in June or July. I was thinking of placing a deposit, but I am hoping it got the same feel as the V3 though.

There is a story with this one and I love it! The box and invoice (only) are stamped "DEMO"... Not the Guitar itself. The guitar was actually not demo'd. If you look at the 56 second YouTube video that's out there showing Slash signing these, you can see the person taking the guitar away after Slash signs it. #39 was swung just a bit too much and was nicked before setting it in the stand. They had just those 100, so they sent it out anyway. Sweetwater rec'd it in that condition and decided to call it a Demo. NO evidence of it ever being played, the clear plastic is still on the pickups. So not only do I now have one of these, but with a fantastic early history!
    :)

The 2013 Epiphone Tribute+ (I'm on that list going around) I have was impressive to me, but this!!!... It's rock solid, neck profile is PERFECT for me! Setup and intonation is spot-on. I've never connected to an Epiphone as I already have with this one. Sadly, I will be putting this right back in it's case, cardboard box, and shipping box. I will absolutely be buying another unsigned one for personal use. Get them while they are out there guys!!!
