I did a thorough search of the forum... and there is no photo thread dedicated to the Ibanez Iceman! The Greco Mirage also counts - as do the old Iceman shaped Artists.

I had one of these about 12 years ago and sold it shortly afterward. I finally got around to picking up another one, and I can't believe I ever let my old one go.

Mine is just a Korean IC300. '95 or so? I'm a big fan, though. They only used the creme colored plastics for a couple of years on these - I added the matching knobs.

    Lets see yours!

So, here is mine - fingerprints and all (why didn't I clean it, you ask? Because I don't clean my guitars - I play them. :thumb: )

Stop porning your guitars Dice and do that freaking clip :laugh2:

If you want, instead of doing that Firewater clip in your historic, why don't you paint up your face, slip on a jump suit and give us clip ripping out some KISS on the ole Iceman :dude: :dude: :dude:

Yeah yeah yeah, I just recorded it - and will have it uploaded shortly. I'll send you a link. :laugh2:

(I told you that I'd get it done if you kept reminding me! :thumb:)

    The R8! :laugh2:

I'm a lowly punk rocker - so the clip isn't that impressive - and the recording quality is low - but I'll send you a link the next hour.

NOW - BACK TO THE ICEMEN!!

And there are some smudges on it.

I love my Iceman--they're very comfortable to play, and mine has a very Gibson type chunky neck, and even has a volute!

I thought you may have had other motives.
But you could have just asked.

    And thanks for the compliments.

I remember reading a Guitar World review of the IC300 when it first came out. I thought it was just about the coolest looking guitar I had ever seen.

Dammit dice, I just bought a new guitar and now I'm obsessing over another one!

I am really enjoying it. I like the pups quite a bit as well - I'm up in the air as to whether or not to put some even hotter handwounds in there (in Zebra of course!). I remember now why I sold the last one - neck heavy, and forward lean - but that is easily remedied with a suede back strap. In my youth I just had nylon straps and didn't know my ass from a hole in the ground generally speaking. I miss the old one - but I'm satisfied yet again. I can't believe it took me so many years to make the decision to replace it!

    Thanks.
I like to sometimes have different settings for each pickup, so I like having separate controls for each pickup.

Still, that doesn't mean a guitar without four isn't any good--just different.

And some other good examples of the Iceman.

    Any more--I like seeing them.
