They are very good Mike. IMO, not quite as good as the ones on the R6, but still great. They turned my SC from a bland sounding copy of an LP  to something I can now use.

The R6 ones perhaps have a bit more bite. BTW have the Alnico magnets in not the Ceramic

Gotcha. You might try the ceramic. My friend has those in his guitar with the ceramic magnet, damn nice sounding.

I like it JR! How do those pups (Mike and JR) compare with the Rio Grande BBQ?

never tried the Rios Frankie, but they are quite good and Pete Biltoft is a great bloke to deal with. He will work with you to get the sound you want.

BBQ is a humbucker Frankie, and to me, pure mud.

The Biltoff P90 sounds like a good P90 should, with some balls. I like it. Much more sweet and articulate than the Rio Fat Bastard P90, I've taken to calling them 'Rio Blande's'

Ooops... wait -- then is the Fat Bastard the Rio HB-sized P-90? I've got one that came with a guitar... that's why I'm asking.
