I have a 99 Goldtop R7. Always thought it would be cool to have some pinstriping done just to give it a unique look. There is a local detail artist and pinstriper that is pretty well known in this area. Was thinking of having him put something different on my goldtop. Wanted it to look unique but not some clone of the Billy G goldtop.

Was just wondering if anyone knows what all is needed to prep before and preserve after?
Can you just mask off the neck and pickups (and remove bridge and tailpiece), or should every thing be removed?
Do you need to put a coat of clear coat on after the pinstriping?

All of your questions are irrelevant until you decide vertical or horizontal...

Probably shouldn't try to pinstripe your own guitar, then. :rofl:I have the same problem with UAV flight tutorials.
