    In no particular order and my plan of attack;

Sweep picking. No more pr0n running on the screen while I practice. Dedicated practice with as few distractions as possible.

Improve my right hand accuracy. Same as above.

Take better photos. Raise my analytical eye and stop the spray and pray method to shooting wildlife, a trap I fall into from time to time. If the shot isn't unique? Recycle Bin. PERIOD.

    HAHAHA That was great man!
    Thanks for the laugh.

As for my goal(s) I'm going to try and stop drinking pop. And also trying to lose a few pounds and my biggest is trying to be more patient and calm with my family.

After 57 years, I'll just be happy if I manage to get through January without writing the date as "2017".

Been trying my hand for the last few years, but mainly for the U.K.
Have been successful enough to be confident in retiring so I can put more focus into managing my portfolio.
If I can offer any information hit me up.
Be more than happy to chat - I'm very interested now and will have probably become quite the bore about it.
Only five years ago I could not have given fewer shits about it.
    :D

(Prolly a good idea to begin by testing your skills out with 'dummy' investments - record a 'dummy' trade and watch what happens, without risking your own capital).
I got started by my Dad, who had better skills thirty years ago than I have yet.
But I seem to be achieving some level of good fortune.
Most of my portfolio is for the long-term in funds, with a small amount of trading (risk) all online.
Wouldn't touch 'Cryptocurrency' with RuffTuff's, but I do have stock in businesses which make the software used to 'mine' it.

    1) Spend more time doing what I WANT to do and less time doing what I HAVE to do.
    2) Lose some weight.
    3) Try not to lose my patience with singers who can't or won't sing what's asked of them.
    4) Learn to sing better so I don't have to deal with #3.

I'm working on getting out of Mi and into warm weather. Not the goal for 2018 but getting closer to it is. That means saving money, investing money towards retirement, and making my house worth more.

    Get this:

This morning, I start getting multiple texts from the guys that I've given up on about getting the project going again.

They're good guys, and good players, but I told them no thanks, I've got other irons in the fire, and left it at that.

I'm going to try to not waste as much time as usual this year.....cause every year/week/day that goes by means I've got less of it.

    :cheers2:

I hear ya, MW, and these relationships can be very frustrating. They say the best way to predict future behavior is to examine present and past behavior. Maybe your best out is to do both. Since your old buds mainly just want to talk about playing in a band that shouldn't interfere w playing with folks who might actually want to do it. For me, it's all about what people want to play. Other folks main goal is just to gig whatever that may be. I guess my point is it isn't either/or. I do feel your pain.:laugh2:

In times like these when I'm having trouble articulating my feelings I turn to the Brothers Gibb to do the talking for me.

I want to learn to shred, Synyster Gates style, but I have no idea where to begin. It's been hard for me to find lessons online applicable to both what I want to learn and my current abilities.

In the immortal words of Emmitt Smith, it's not a goal until you've written it down...until then it's just a dream.

Most goals aren't really goals at all...they're results. They are the results of desire, determination, commitment, and practice.
