Nope, I finally left Gibson just before the main acts on Saturday night (so what, umm about 8:30ish I guess???) when my ulcer flaired up and meds were required that I had back at the hotel. I had onsite parking but I was just too freaking exhusted by then so I just said fuck it, I'm going to bed LOL. I called my girlfriend up, drank a couple of beers and flat passed out by 10 and slept till 8 Sunday morning. Dont be surprised if it stays on NAMM week from now on, the shows size this year was nearly perfect and there is far more "A" level talent availble to come and play.

The Goldtop was unreal ..like I said at the show i love those 57 necks! but after I got the gidders out following Larry Mccray  and then taking the guitar out of his hands ..it took me a min hehe I enjoyed that guitar very much!

The guitar I have comming to me is suppose to be #38 I was going to ask about the goldtop but who could sell that one? lol

anyway Jay Kicked ass he is very good!!

Yeah, that baby wont be for sale for a long time I hope. I've got two standing offers on it. There's a lot of history in that guitar that I wont cover here. Jay is an EXCELLENT guitar player and always fun to watch. I was hoping you got #30, cause, as you see from above, thats the one I got pics of. Loved your playing dude, nice rocking!

Thanks, I'm very sloppy and you are to kind! do you know if they video taped any of that? I would like to have that for the grand kids "later in life". Once in a lifetime chance and will not happen again for me anyway. Also i wanted to play with Larry we had talked about it before he went on stage and then I met the detroit Rocker dudes.

Some really great pics... wish I could have been there. I snagged these from the other forum as I just love these 2 shots. I haven't seen them posted on MLP yet so here goes...

Slash presents Johnny Winter's customized signature Firebird model from Gibson...

And an all-star jam sesson with Johnny Winter, Larry Carlton and Slash...

The opening guitar player in his band was the best. Kenny Olsen is also really good but needs a new group really or at least singer
