Me too, it's a life that i search for ledgers without luck...
Those years "disappeared" ....at least 58-60
It looks like you may already have some of mine.
Another suggestion; you may want to get these saved on a server other than photobucket. People delete stuff all the time from photobucket. Maybe Alex would host them on the MLP server to truly preserve them.
yep, there 551859 April 8 69... LSLP site
This is cool. You can see the duplicate serial numbers between '66 and '69.
Also, where are all these 1966 SG TV Models that are listed?
One I have from the "last of the '68 Les Paul Customs, and first of '69..." Mine is highlighted...
I also have 501107 (LP Std) which is from July 10, 1968. (this is according to Gibson, they won't make scans of the Register anymore... I wonder why they don't just do it once and for all...?)
I have a pdf file from November 1968, but don't know how to convert to a jpeg that I can post here. Any ideas?
Open the .pdf file and resize it (using the + or -) so it all fits on your screen.
Press the “Print Screen” key on your keyboard. Close the .pdf file.
This is called a ScreenShot.
(it is included on all Windows Operating Systems, but you may have to look around to find it)
In the upper Left of the Paint Program, there is a tab labeled “Paste”.
Click on it, and it will put your ScreenShot in the Paint Program.
Drop down the File Menu, and click “Save As”, then click .jpeg Picture, and give
it a location to save it to.
It is now saved as a .jpeg File, in the folder you have assigned it.
It will lose some quality, as .pdf is a much better resolution than .jpeg.
From there, you can Crop, and adjust it as you would any .jpeg File.
Email it to me, please. hoss (at) historiclespauls (dot) com
I'd love to see it.
Great stuff. I saw on an earlier MLP thread 2011, that the missing/stolen ledgers were said to have been sighted (shown to somebody?) in 1980. 34 years ago!! I hope the ledgers still exist, and haven't been thrown away as junk by some relative of the person that had them. Seems like the pages covering 1958-1967, with the exception of a bit of a page from 1964 and 1967, haven't been scanned or photographed? Doubt if anything will turn up here in Sweden, but I'll certainly post if it does.
Thanks, Alvinfan. On your Mac you can use "File->Export" in the Preview app to convert a PDF to an image format.
I have one page from around April 1961 for ESes. My former one is mentionend there
