    I think you are right.
    As far as i know, Les Paul made 4 copies of this to his wife, so called "Mary Ford" models, in 57 or 58. I don`t know if it had "Mary Ford Model" labeled on the HS. But i know a person who (still) own one of them. I can ask...

    It looks to me like a one-off custom order, with an ES-295 pickguard and another one cut to form an armrest.

    This is actually an old thread. The MF LP never had her name on the headstock. I don't think the reissue was all that popular when they made them more than a decade ago. But Gibson will reissue just about anything that might move a few units.
